Rare plants are becoming extinct in the serpentine grasslands of Soldier's Delight due to the spreading population of pine trees. To save them, the method the Native Americans who lived here once used must be used again. Burning these grasslands creates new life in a place where fire can be the enemy but also brings rebirth.
