In attempts to save the endangered Whooping Crane, wildlife experts try to establish self sustained migratory flocks. With a small, ultralight airplane, they teach the birds to migrate from Wisconsin to Florida. The Patuxent Wildlife Research Center in Laurel, MD is pivotal in providing initial training to Whooping Crane chicks for this migration experiment.
