He was holding a note, and doing his hand, going through the whole thing as an opera singer.

And we just had a lot of fun with it.

And all I wanted to do was sing the songs the best that I could and I hoped that the people enjoyed what I was doing.

And this is my 50th year.

Now when I go out there, I just, I just want to be a part of what the people experience.

I want to be a part of their life, part of- you know of their evening, part of their fun.

And uh instead of just me being an entertainer I want to...make them a part of what I'm doing.

And I think it works much better you know that way.

Almost over 40 years.

I've known Howard for a long time.

And each time that I've ever met them or been around them, they've were always the same.

And so was I to them.

And um you know we've been at it too long.

Egos is...is like has been, you know.

We want to make our shows- concert, whether this concert or any concert we're on together we want to do our best to make it the best for our fans .

And that's the most important thing.

RUSSELL: Oh I just want to thank everybody.

I want to thank all the people who brought us, brought us in, took care of us all week.

Uh, I mean everyone was so fantastic.

You know, I'm... almost sorry that it's ending.

But I don't think it's going to be the end.

I think it just, it might be a beginning.

It was great working with Russell, and with uh Gerald, with the with the choir, with the band, with the orchestra.
