In 1956 the Canadian government unjustly declared the Sinixt people extinct in Canada. Cutting them off nearly 80% of their aboriginal territory. Now with the Desautel Hunting Case, the Sinixt people have a chance to not only bring light to their unjust extinction, but also abolish the declaration completely.
